Profile

Stylianos Xatzievagelou was born in the settlement of Olbio, in Xanthi, on January 1962.

He is married and has a daughter.

In 1986, when he was 24 years old, was elected as the the President of the Village Council of the New Olvio and was reelected in 1990 and 1994.

In 1994, he was elected as the President of the Waste Management Association of Xanthi 's Prefecture, a position which he held until the end of 2004, and now he continues from the vice-president position.

In 1998 he was elected as the first Mayor of the newly-established Municipality of Topeiros, in which New Olvio was united.

In 2002 has been realected as Mayor Topeiros' Municipality until 2006.

He has been a member of The Administrated Council of the Prefectorial Hospital of Xanthi.

He has represented Xanthi' s Local Union of Municipalities and Communities in several commissions.

He is also an Administrative Counselor of Xanthi' s Developing Company.
